The DIG Field School
I have been an instructor for the DIG Field School since 2015. The DIG is a 4-day, immersive fieldwork experience for K–12 teachers where we teach them paleontology and geology research methods. We then work with the teachers to develop in-class lesson plans for their students, using fossils as a gateway to curiosity about the natural world and understanding of the scientific process. I am committed to communicating science to the public and inspiring the next generation of scientists. To learn more about ongoing outreach efforts, please contact me. |
